New Period Field widget

A new version of the Period Field has been released, and now DPS users can select periods in a more simple way, and also moving the selected period forward and backward.

By clicking on the period button, a popup allows you selecting a period from a predefined set or instead specify a custom one through the calendar. Optionally, the time of day can also be specified for more accurate data analysis.

The old period field remains available, and will be gradually replaced with the new one, also when embedded into widgets (e.g. Time Series Chart).

Derivation with previous metric value

When configuring a Derived Metric with continuous computation, for each selected input metric, within the expressions, you can also use the previous value in order to compute differences on metric values.

This derivation is helpful, for instance, when you have a metric publishing an absolute counter, and you need to track increments.

Bug fixes (DPS)

• The Maintenance Registry widget displayed the wrong name of the thing when placed in a location context.
• It was not possible to change the parent thing within the Map widget.
