Integrate the connected products with the Google Home assistant.
This plugin, once enabled, allows you to configure the Google Home traits in terms of capabilities of the thing-definitions.
To configure this plugin, you need the Project ID associated with your Google Actions project.
You can find the ID by entering the Project settings page
In order to configure the account linking between the Google Action and your environment, you must provide an API Key, that Google will use to make API calls to your environment.
Within the plugin configuration page, you must select an API Key. It is suggested to use reserved API Key, so do not share the selected one with other services.
Refer to the Remote Control / Google Home page, to configure the traits supported by connected products.
Plugin Configuration
To enable this plugin, you need to:- Go to the Integrations / Plugins page.
- Select the Assistants category.
- Locate the Google Home card.
- Click on the card switch to activate the plugin.
- Configure the plugin properties and save.
Here is the list of all the properties that can be used in the plugin configuration.

To create a new API Key, refer to the API Keys article.
Note that you do not need to configure any permissions for the Google Home plugin.
