This algorithm measures the proper functioning of a machine by analyzing the time spent each day with an active failure or anomaly (major and minor).
Only failures and anomalies having the HEALTH as topic are involved in the computation.
Failures, Major and Minor Anomalies are considered with different weights, and optionally Minor anomalies can be discarded according to the threshold specified in the insight metric (by default at least 5 per day).
A value of 100% means that the machine is running well without problems, on the contrary, a low value, or a downward trend in the calculated values, could indicate that the machine has problems and will therefore need to be serviced. For more details about the Proper Functioning Index topic, you can explore the Servitly Academy.
